Synopsis: The meeting with the Klak’kati hive went well, at first, but the crew of the Hiroshima soon learned that they had been, in fact, herded (see Ice Capades synopsis) by the Breen, who’d placed a cloaked pod on one of the ship’s nacelle struts. This pod replicated and distributed a lethal virus and the Hiroshima was its unwilling (and unknowning) host.
Initially blamed for the outbreak, the crew of the Hiroshima successfully navigates a touchy diplomatic challenge and, while the Klak’kati Hive is closed (for the time being) to the Federation, it is not an enemy.
